Handset ringer melody and volume

You have a choice of 10 melodies and 5 volume levels

(or OFF). You can change the external ringer (ring for an

external incoming call) or the internal ringer (ring for an

internal call).

To change the external ringer melody

1. Press , scroll to

HANDSET

and press .

2. Scroll to

EXT MELODY

and press . The current

melody is played.

3. Press or to hear and select a melody then press

. The handset gives a confirmation tone.

4. Press

repeatedly to return to the idle screen.

To change the external ringer volume

1. Press , scroll to

HANDSET

and press .

2. Scroll to

EXT RING VOL

and press . The current

setting is played.

3. Press or to select a volume then press .

The handset gives a confirmation tone.

4. Press

repeatedly to return to the idle screen.

To exit and return to the idle

display at any time, press

repeatedly.

The default setting is 1.

You can also assign a different

ringer melody to entries in your

phonebook,

see page 20.

The default setting is 3.
